The contest is over and the winners have received their mobile phone. But how will they use the mobile internet?
During these past few weeks, many of you shared our “Free is for...” campaign posters on Facebook. By doing so, you entered the contest for winning one of our ten fantastic smart phones. This week, the contest came to an end and ten winners were drawn by an innocent, electronic hand. Congratulations to you ten lucky chaps!
When informing the winners about their sweet victory, we took the opportunity to ask what they generally use their mobile internet for.
“I use Facebook, Twitter and Googlemaps and especially Push email! Since Mobile Vikings offers free internet, pushing my mails through straight away is no problem at all”, says David.
Olivier likes the possibility of checking the train schedules in particular. Never late again and more importantly: never having to wait again! Plus he has something fun to do on the train now.
Others, like Manfred, use it for professional reasons: “I look up information and check up on the news constantly. Working in the telecommunications sector, I couldn’t do without”. Although he’s not a Viking yet, he’s looking into it, “because the offer does look great”, he adds.
Simon admits he hasn’t used the mobile internet a whole lot so far. But with his new phone he’ll definitely give it a go and then who knows what the future might bring!
