22 Apr How to advertise Mobile Vikings pricing
Some users are confused about the way Mobile Vikings prepaid credit can be used in combination with free mobile internet and sms. This post proposes an alternative way to advertise our pricing.
The open communication we have with our users also means we get a lot of suggestions. Recently, there have been a few good remarks concerning our grace period. Some users like the fact that they can "go negative" with their internet bundle, others want to use their calling credit to the max to do some more free surfing.
To alleviate the confusion, we propose the following representation of our tariff:

The conditions of course remain the same: "1 GB free per top-up of €15 for the first 1000 blocks of 1 MB after a topup of €15 the charged rate is €0 as far as the first byte of the megabyte block is sent within 31 days after the topup.". It is just an attempt to make our offer a bit more clear.
Which one do you prefer?

Fri 24 Apr 2009 14:58Does this mean that we have to add €15 each month? Even if we have still some amount left?

Fri 24 Apr 2009 19:09Are you kidding us? The first one is the clearest!

Sun 26 Apr 2009 12:13The first one is more clear.
I don`t understand the second one.
You better do:
0.24 euro/min
0.10 euro/sms
1000 Free sms*
1 gb free internet**= when you reload for 15 euros. The free SMS and free internet is available for 30 days after you reload.
Sorry if my english is not normal :)

Why??????
THX...

Mon 27 Apr 2009 10:05The Current pricetable = mutch better.
Because by current pricetable 15 : 0.24 = 62,5 call minutes
And by the other you have 60 call minutes

Tue 28 Apr 2009 19:20As I said before, the per minute pricing is a real downside.
So RonnyG, saying you can call 62,5 minutes isn't true, the way I see it, you can call 62 minutes if you time it right, but in practice, it would be more like an average of 40 minutes, unless you are carefull not to go just a couple of seconds over a minute.
