16 Jun Invite codes will expire in 2 weeks
In a few weeks you will no longer need an invite code to become a Mobile Viking, but it is possible that there will be a slight change in the conditions for new users .
At the launch of Mobile Vikings, back in February, we decided to introduce a system of invite codes. The reason was that our partner Base did not want us to go over a certain number of users. This is understandable if you consider that our prices are considerably below the market price.
Today we have reached an agreement with KPN Belgium (Base) to lift the limit of the invite codes. Starting from July 1st, the invite codes will be gone and everyone will be free to register for a Mobile Vikings SIM card. We are however still discussing the conditions that will apply to those new users. But we can guarantee you we are still aiming for free mobile internet.
For existing users, nothing will change.
All existing invite codes will remain valid until July 1st. If you become a Mobile Viking before July 1st 2009, you can still benefit from the current attractive conditions (1000 SMS + 1000 MB for free, with each 15 € topup at 0,24 €/min). Users who register after this date will automatically receive the new (to be defined) conditions.
In summary:
- There is still some time left to make your friends happy with an invite code.
- Our conditions will not change for existing users (=registered before July 1st).
- We don't know yet what the conditions will be for users registered after July 1st.

Fri 26 Jun 2009 07:14I wonder if MV could give us the change to choose between the present and the new conditions. My wife would like to become a MV, she likes the actual conditions(1GB data and 1000 SMS), I'm already a MV member, I still have another phone number, a contract that will end in a few months, what should I do, Move to MV nbefore july 1st and pay an early contract termination or wait ? Maybe the new conditions will be even better, but, that's the question : We don't know, so, waht should we do if we don't know what's going to happen with our future?
Please MV, make the new conditions public for at least 24Hrs, so wee'll be able to choose the right one to each one of us.

Sat 27 Jun 2009 12:57Effe voor de duidelijkheid... ik kan dus vandaag mijn sim aanvragen en die pas over enkele weken/maanden activeren? Ik zit nu bij Simyo (via Base) en ben daar heel tevreden over maar ik ga binnekort een iphone halen en dan is mobile vikings beter. (Ik wil eerst mijn belkrediet opbellen/smssen).

ik heb geen geld meer op men oude sim staan:(
en ik zou graag weer willen smsn enzowaneer kan ik hier rekenen dat deze diensten weer beschikbaar zijn?
