26 Jan What's that MNP Beep all about?

Some Mobile Vikings might hear three short beeps when they make a phone call and might be wondering what that bloody thing is.
These three beeps are called the MNP Beep. It’s a feature you can activate if you would like know to which network the number you’re trying to reach is connected. It’s a nice feature indeed, but pretty useless if you’re a Mobile Viking, as we pay the same price to all networks.

Call 1966


So, if you want to get rid of these beeps, you could contact the helpdesk and those nice people would gladly deactivate it for you. Alternatively, you could also do it yourself, in just three steps:

1. Call 1966
2. Press 4 to change the settings of your MNP Beep
3. Press 1 to deactivate your MNP Beep

And that’s all!

    Mobile Vikings is duur. Wij vinden dat klanten 3gb per herlaad beurt van 20 euro moeten krijgen ofwel GB's per herlaad beurt worden bewaard zoals aantal SMS berichtjes. 1GB is tegenwoordig veel te weinig.

    MV duur?

    Al eens naar de prijzen van een ander gezien? Voor pre-paid is dat bijna steeds 3,5 euro per Mb. Met een abonnement bij Proximus (12 maanden gebonden) betaal je 9,9 euro per maand voor 100mb, 24,99 euro voor 500mb per maand.

    En vergeet niet, bij MV kan je ook nog extra uw 15 euro opbellen en ook nog eens extra 1000 sms'en sturen.

    Als u een provider gevonden heeft die u wil betalen om gebruik te maken van hun netwerk laat iets weten hier.

    Ik denk dat de concurrentie zich al ferm geraakt moet voelen wanneer ze zich zo verlagen.

    Wanneer word de 3G ontvangst mogelijk bij MV?
