4 Jun Fuel for your iPhone addiction

The iPhone is a popular device amongst Mobile Vikings users. Now they can install our special iPhone Bundle.

Just download the file http://files.mobilevikings.s3.amazonaws.com/MobileVikings_be.ipcc , click on your iPhone icon in iTunes and click the "restore" button whilst holding the shift key (mac users: hold the alt/option key instead of the shift key). Now you can select "carrrier configuration files" and browse to the file you downloaded.

That's it! Your sms, mms, internet and roaming settings are now correct. And what is really cool: Tethering settings for OS 3.0 beta are also included (in non-geek speak this means you can share your iPhone internet connection over Bluetooth with your laptop)

Now go and get this iPhone bundle, as a bonus you wil get a cool Mobile Vikings logo as your carrier icon.

Update February 10, 2010: we've updated the IPCC file for iPhone OS 3.1.3. This enables tethering again. One of our customers also wrote a blog post to explain how to install and the difference between the default Apple bundle. Thanks to @Scorpiosoft, @Undertaxxx25 and @ekettoz.

    Impossible pour moi de selectionner le fichier ippc. Il reste grisé.
    (je suis sous mac osx 10.6).
    Quelqu'un peu m'aider?

    Tout fonctionne pour moi, sauf le logo de Mobile Vikings qui ne s'affiche pas!

    J'ai un 3G sous 4.0.2 - Pas d'option Tethering disponible, puis je utiliser cet IPCC ?

    T'es censé pouvoir activer le Tethering.
    Options => Général => Réseau => Données Cellulaires => Scroll en bas de page, remplis les champs de Tethering internet par web.be, web et web. Ensuite active le Tethering dans le menu précédent (en dessous du Data Roaming, il apparait après le remplissage des champs) et connecte toi en Bluetooth avec ton portable. Ensuite il suffit de sélectionner le périphérique Bluetooth comme réseau internet.

    ik zou toch ook wel een nieuw bestand willen voor de iPhone 4.
    Ik vind het top om Viking te zijn maar zou toch liever het normale logo hebben ipv base. En ook het doorschakelen actief mag weg van mij.

    Hoe lang gaat het nu nog duren voor een officiële ipcc? Ik geloof al lang niet meer dat Apple er gewoon lang over doet.

    Merci pour ton aide, depuis la màj 4.1 j'ai accès au Partage de Connexion... Je teste en ce moment ce que je peux faire, ça semble fonctionner en BT ^^
